Radio Current Affairs’s Coordinators Brit Jensen and Liam O’Brien on this year’s competition:
‘After an intense two days of listening and discussion, the PRIX EUROPA Radio Current Affairs jury concluded its work on Tuesday evening just before 20:00. We heard a wide range of stories through 16 investigative and current affairs audio programmes from all over Europe. Stories included serial killers, medical malpractice, financial fraud, murder and state/government failures amongst others. The standard of production, across the board, has been very impressive this year - as well as the impact and response each production generated in its own respective country. Real, meaningful change. With a standard like this year, it's impossible to choose a winner - so all eyes, and ears, on Friday evenings Award Ceremony!’
