Ruhi Hamid is a passionate and committed award winning filmmaker with a distinguished track record making award-winning documentary films for the BBC, Channel 4, Aljazeera as well as American and other European Broadcasters.  
Ruhi specialises in filming intimate human stories, that are character driven with strong narratives covering subjects on women, race, equality, war, and the environment and her unique skill lies in telling intimate, powerful human stories of people caught up in complex political or social conditions in our world today. She excels in navigating tough access and her films are as stylish as they are compelling.
