‘The very special edge to PRIX EUROPA is TALKING MOVIES. I can't wait to experience this year's crop of documentary films first-hand in the company of the European filmmakers who made them come to life and made them come to Prix Europa. Only once a year, this critical mass of documentary talent and experience builds up in the Berlin powerhouse of public service broadcasting.  Niels-Ole Rasmussen is a director at Copenhagen Film, making documentaries and series for Danish and European broadcasters. Niels started his career with an MA in Communications and Social Science. He then drifted into broadcasting news as a reporter, editor, and anchor before hitting documentary production. Parallel to this, he has written fiction novels and dabbled in song-writing. Lately, Lady Luck has pushed him in the direction of moderating and acting as a juror in events like PRIX EUROPA, INPUT and Japan Prize.
